What is exciting about your role?

My current assignment is a part of a project team which has a very challenging brief but a clear purpose and goal. We react to changes, create new processes, and encounter new situations each day. We also need to enjoy being in an unfamiliar territory which gives us a great sense of achievement as we navigate through challenging situations.

What is the most exciting project that you have worked on?

It is without a doubt my current new acquisition project where me and my team are integrating a new company into the MDLZ organisation.

What do you like about working at MDLZ?

I like the international scale, the diverse culture, and the lack of a sense of hierarchy where you are always valued, and your voice is heard.

What learning and capabilities programmes do you find most beneficial at MDLZ?

We have an amazing platform called “Learning” at MDLZ, which allows you to access a vast range of learning programmes. I have personally used the training programmes for Lean Methodology, project management as well as personal effectiveness courses to help me be at my best. Also, I am trying to learn French (again!), and this is through the Rosetta Stone partnership which we have access to via the platform.

How would you describe MDLZ as a future forward thinking organisation?

I truly feel that MDLZ is at the forefront in many areas. The agility of the company to adapt to changing customer needs means that we also adapt very quickly internally too. This is a key strength of the business and makes our roles interesting! Our culture of DE&I is very prominent within MDLZ and having an external lens to other companies (as I do in my current role), you really get a perspective on how advanced MDLZ is.

How would you describe the work culture at Mondelēz International and within your function?

We are very collaborative, honest, friendly and informal with motivation to tackle challenges and get the job done.

What is your favourite brand?

I am from Birmingham so I cannot move away from my love of Cadbury Chocolate and Whole nut in particular – if I have one piece it will lead to a row which often leads to the entire packet!
