Our global research and development team – more than 2,500 colleagues around the world – is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in snacking. While taste remains the leading driver of consumers’ snacking choices, we regularly work to elevate our recipes with key ingredients including whole grains, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals. Each ingredient in our recipes plays a vital role – such as enhancing flavor, adding texture, improving appearance, or extending shelf life. We continuously partner with world-leading research universities and institutes, innovative food-tech startups, and ingredient suppliers to make our recipes regionally relevant and informed by the latest nutrition science and expert guidance.
We also work hard to help consumers personalize their snacking experience. We offer a broad range of individually wrapped snacks containing less than 200 calories, and our “Mindful Portions” labels provide visual, at-a-glance images of portion size, alongside the number of calories per portion, as well as snack pairing suggestions.
