What attracted you to joining Mondelēz?

I had heard positive sentiments about the company culture, and the power of our brands was attractive. But it was really about the opportunities that Mondelēz offers – the opportunity for new learning experiences, to lead a team, and the future career opportunities available.

What has been the highlight/s (projects) for you?

The All Blacks partnership and the ‘Cheer and a Half’ activation has been a real highlight for me, particularly seeing how well the field team activate in store. It highlights how well-oiled we are, with smooth processes and a collaborative team environment.

What does career development and learning, mean for you at Mondelēz?

Career development and learning is very important to me, as I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself and grow. At Mondelēz I’ve had the opportunity to be part of strategic business projects, which is something I haven’t experienced at other FMCG companies.

What do you enjoy most about the work you do at Mondelēz?

I am really enjoying the experience of coaching and developing my team. The culture here is very collaborative, but also very organised and process driven. The strategy and goals are clear, you know your piece in the puzzle, which means everyone is accountable for delivering their part. This makes challenging times easier, with multiple people to lean on and bounce ideas off to identify solutions to problems. Overall the culture of Mondelēz is fun and enjoyable.

Mondelēz NZ has a number of community and brand partnerships – what does this mean for you?

It’s very exciting to see how much we do here as a Company and what we get involved in, and we are always looking for ways to do things better. I feel proud that our brands can hold their own with such powerful partnerships. Our volunteer days are a great way to give back to local communities, while also spending time with our team and other teams, which is a great team bonding experience.

What advice do you have for someone considering an opportunity with Mondelēz?

Mondelēz is an awesome company, with great career opportunities. I am glowing and growing in the role and its noticeable to those around me. I would say jump at it, it’s great culture and a fantastic place to work.
