Mondelez India provides these units to retail partners to support the appropriate storage of its chocolate products.

As a company, we believe in empowering our consumers and partners with information and as far as educating our customers regarding the fat bloom occurrence is concerned, the back of every Cadbury chocolate packet indicates that the product may develop a whitish layer owing to temperature or humidity changes. This is a natural occurrence and does not affect the product’s quality or safety when stored as recommended.

The core ingredients and recipe remain consistent as those used by Lotus Bakeries and adhere to the same global quality checks. Indian labels follow Indian food regulations, so some of the ingredient names may appear differently on the label (e.g. wheat flour globally refers to the same ingredient mentioned on the label as refined wheat flour in India).
