Mondelēz International Inc. Fraud Warning

Important notice for job seekers

We have been made aware of an online recruitment fraud involving fake Mondelēz International job postings. The fraudulent postings impersonate our company, leaders and employees in an attempt to wrongfully gather personal data and money from candidates.

We take this matter very seriously and are taking all appropriate measures, including working with the relevant authorities, to put an end to this fraudulent scheme.

What you should watch out for:

Emails that originate from a non @mdlz.com address. All our employees, including our recruiting teams, use email addresses that end in @mdlz.com.

Job postings or emails with poor spelling and grammar.

A job offer when no face-to-face interview has taken place. As part of our recruitment process we always look to meet candidates in person, at least once.

Early requests for extensive personal information such as passport and bank account details. Passport information would only be requested at the in-person interview stage and bank account details would only be requested after a job offer has been accepted and onboarding begins.

Offers of employment in international locations – often with requests for "visa processing fees". We would never ask for money from candidates as part of our recruitment process.

We recommend that you do not respond to anyone making unsolicited or suspicious offers of employment on behalf of Mondelēz International. If you receive such an approach we would strongly advise you to contact your local police department.
