Describe your career & development at Mondelēz. What is it that encourages you to stay at Mondelēz?

I have worked in 5 different roles during my time at Mondelēz. I have business partnered the sales team, the plant manufacturing teams, the procurement team and even worked on the implementation of a new finance planning tool.  Being able to move around and work in finance across the business is something that really encourages me to stay at Mondelēz, as I am always learning new skills, working with different teams and learning a different area of the business with each role.

What have been some of the highlight/s for you at Mondelēz? 

My most recent role at Mondelēz, as the Scoresby plant’s Finance Manager has been a highlight for me. Working in Manufacturing is not for everyone – it is one of the most fast paced, dynamic environments I have experienced. However, it is also the place where I have felt I have grown and learnt the most in my career. The team at Scoresby is one big family and no matter what challenge the day throws at you, I always know that we will work together and solve it. I have really enjoyed getting into the details of the manufacturing process and understanding how all the seemingly “small” decisions can make such a big impact on the financial outcomes.

How would you describe the culture at Mondelēz?

There are very few companies where people have stayed for years, even decades, and Mondelēz is one of those rare places! I think the culture is a big factor behind this, the people at Mondelēz make it such a great place to stay. I have been very lucky with all the teams I have worked in, I have always felt supported and encouraged to be curious. The culture I have experienced has allowed me to learn and grow immensely and I have so many fond memories of the teams I have worked with.

What advice do you have for someone considering an opportunity with Mondelēz?

Mondelēz is an exciting place to work if you're someone who thrives on learning and new challenges. It is a company where opportunities pop up all the time, meaning a steep learning curve – and no chance to get bored! The culture at the company will support you to reach your full potential, make many wonderful memories and grow as a professional.
