Economic Inclusion & Supplier Diversity

From sourcing the right ingredients, to innovating the right packaging, Mondelēz International has adopted a shelf-to-field approach that ensures Snacking Made Right. The recipe for success led to the formation of the Economic Inclusion and Supplier Diversity (EISD) program that empowers Mondelēz International to procure innovative, high-quality, cost-effective products and services from businesses who are at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by person(s) identified as women and minorities (defined as the following, depending on country guidelines and regulations: Ethnic, People with Disabilities, LGBTQ+, Veteran).

Our EISD Program

Suppliers can certify or self-identify as being diverse. Mondelēz International supports various organizations that certify diverse businesses. These organization give suppliers access to databases, networking, educational and capital access opportunities. Below are examples of the third-party organizations we support but are not limited to:

We have partnered with Gainfront where suppliers can voluntarily (except where prohibited by local law) self-identify as a diverse supplier or upload their diverse certification and register interest in becoming a supplier.
