On the Day of the Interview

Verbal tips

Talk positively but honestly about your results, achievements, obstacles and learnings.

Ask for clarification if you don’t understand a question: asking an interviewer to explain or rephrase a question shows good communication skills.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions about the company and the role – an interview is a two-way process! The interview is also for you to learn about the position and see if it really is for you.

Nonverbal tips

Be yourself!

Don’t be late for the interview. Plan your time to arrive early and compose yourself before the interview.

Don’t be afraid to show your passion about the job and the prospect of joining Mondelēz International and working in the team.

Listen to the questions and think about your replies before you speak; feel free to take a few moments, it is completely normal!

Dress for the job. Wear the most formal attire that you would likely need to wear in that position. Show the employer how you could represent their company.

Above all… relax!

After the Interview

After a job interview, it's important to follow up with the hiring manager. The most important step you can take to follow up after a job interview is to thank the interviewer for taking the time to meet with you and to reiterate your interest in the position.
