What attracted you to joining Mondelēz?

I was drawn to Mondelēz by its reputation for operational excellence, iconic brands, and the scale of technical challenges within a global FMCG environment. Coming from a strong engineering and capital projects background, the opportunity to join a company that not only values innovation but actively invests in its people and assets was extremely compelling. I saw Mondelēz as a place where I could make a real impact, transforming manufacturing capability, leading significant capital programs, and contributing to a business that prioritises quality, safety, and continuous improvement. From day one, it felt like the right environment to grow as a leader and deliver meaningful results.

What have been some of the highlight/s for you at Mondelēz?

One of my key highlights has been leading complex, multi-disciplinary capital projects that directly enable growth for the Scoresby business. Whether it’s driving capacity expansions, resolving legacy equipment challenges, or navigating major automation upgrades, I’ve found every challenge to be an opportunity to step up, collaborate, and deliver outcomes aligned to our long term business vision.

Another highlight is the trust and autonomy I’ve been given. In just over a year, I’ve been able to influence strategic direction, work closely with senior leadership, and build strong partnerships across engineering, operations, quality, procurement, and global teams. This level of empowerment and the expectation of high performance has accelerated both my development and my sense of ownership.

What do you enjoy most about the work you do at Mondelēz?

What I enjoy most is the ability to combine “big picture” thinking with hands on engineering problem solving. Every day, I get to work on projects that unlock capacity, improve safety and reliability, and future proof our site. I thrive in environments where no two days are the same, where we tackle complex issues, and where the work we do has a real and measurable impact on the business.

I also genuinely enjoy the people. From operators to senior leaders, the collaborative culture at Scoresby is exceptional. We challenge each other, support each other, and stay aligned to the same KPIs and goals. That sense of shared purpose makes even the toughest days rewarding.

What does career development and learning mean for you at Mondelēz?

For me, career development at Mondelēz means being continually stretched, supported, and inspired. I’m passionate about leadership, strategy, and technical excellence, and Mondelēz is the type of organisation where you can actively shape your path through performance, curiosity, and initiative. In the short time I’ve been here, I’ve already been exposed to high value projects, strategic planning, stakeholder leadership, and cross functional execution. Every challenge has accelerated my growth.
