When and why did you decide to join MDLZ?

When I decided to move to Australia three years ago, I told myself and my family, "I'm not going unless I can work for a chocolate company!" I said it so many times, it became a bit of a running joke. But I was serious! I really manifested it, and here I am. It might sound a bit silly, but I've always dreamed of working for a chocolate company. I love chocolate – it's my favourite snack – and my thought, "What could be better than working on something I'm truly passionate about?" of course it’s not just for the love of chocolate, is also for all the other delicious snacks.

Despite being an Engineer and worked as Industrial engineer for more than 7 years, I always wanted to lead teams and work closely with stakeholders so, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to combine my technical skills with my passion for communication, leadership and to really make a difference. I wanted to be able to build connections, learn from others and contribute to our vibrant company culture. I was particularly drawn to the chance to be part of something bigger and make some meaningful impact. I hope my story inspires you.

What aspects of working at Mondelēz as a Project Commercialisation Manager have been most rewarding for you?

Working at Mondelēz International is truly an honour, especially being part of such iconic brands like Toblerone, Cadbury, Oreo, Olinda, TNCC… There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a product you worked on come to life on our customer shelves, knowing the collaboration, commitment and passion that went into making it happen. Being part of the world of snacking—bringing joy to people through our products—is something I’m really passionate about. Working alongside such talented and supportive team members and colleagues makes every challenge more exciting and the continuous learning and growth we experience together is invaluable.

What is the most interesting part about your role?

The most interesting part of my role is getting to see and be part of the full journey of a product—from concept to launch. As project managers, we touch and manage every aspect of the process, working cross-functionally with different teams and learning from each challenge along the way. It’s incredibly fulfilling to help bring ideas to life while also leading and learning from the amazing people I work with. Every day is different, and that’s what makes it so exciting!.

Tell us about an innovative project that you have been part of?

Over the past two and a half years, I've been fortunate to be involved in numerous innovative projects, but Toblerone Pralines (diamond shape) launch holds a particularly special place in my heart.

As my first experience into the world of import projects, it was both incredibly challenging and immensely rewarding as well - DELICIOUS. Managing a remote team in Europe required a leap of faith and a deep commitment to building strong connections. Successfully navigating through significant time zone differences, adapting to diverse MEU working styles, and fostering trust across continents all while mastering a new role, a new company, new culture, new language, new country… what a roller coaster of emotions that required a lot of dedication, commitment, and passion. This experience taught me invaluable lessons about the power of human connection and the boundless potential of an united team by a shared vision. I am incredibly proud of what we achieved together.

I once dreamed of working in a chocolate company in Australia, and now here I am. This quote reminds me that if you set your mind to something and work towards it with passion, anything is possible.
