Reflecting on your journey as a graduate at Mondelēz International, what kind of training or development opportunities have you been given during the program?

I was incredibly fortunate to complete three very different rotations, each offering unique learning and development opportunities. The structure of the Mondelēz Graduate Program has given me exposure to a broad range of functions early in my career, which has been invaluable in shaping my understanding of the business.

How did you start your career at Mondelēz International?

I joined Mondelēz International with the ambition of completing the JSE program. However, as it wasn’t being advertised at the time, I began my career within the field sales team, which turned out to be the perfect place to start! I first completed a short stint as a Merchandiser before quickly progressing into a Territory Manager role. These positions gave me hands-on experience, which created a great foundation and set me up to apply for the JSE program once it became available.

What initially attracted you to join Mondelēz International, and has your experience aligned with your expectations?

What initially attracted me to join was, without a doubt, the brands. How could you not have fun selling chocolate? Beyond the products themselves, I was determined to work for a company I genuinely loved and one whose values closely aligned with my own. Since joining, my experience has exceeded my expectations. I feel incredibly fortunate to come to work each day and love what I do.

What advice do you have for someone considering an opportunity with Mondelēz?

My advice would be to go for it and apply. Mondelēz is a company that truly invests in its people, providing great exposure, responsibility, and opportunities to grow.
