How did you start your career at our Gebze Bakery Plant in Mondelēz Türkiye?

I became part of the Mondelēz family when the company acquired Chipita. What began as a role in Business Development Coordinator has grown into my current position as Production Planning and Logistics Manager. This journey has been an opportunity to learn, lead, and contribute to the company’s growth while growing personally in the process.

What initially attracted you to Mondelēz Türkiye, and how has your experience aligned with your expectations?

I was drawn to Mondelēz for its global vision, extensive learning network, and commitment to workplace safety. Experiencing these values in action has made my journey here both fulfilling and rewarding.

What skills have been crucial for your career advancement in Production Planning and Logistics?

In my role, I’ve found that a few key skills make a real difference. Building strong relationships across departments helps us work more smoothly, while relying on data allows us to make better-informed decisions. A solution-oriented approach has also been essential in driving results.

What is unique about working at the Gebze Bakery Plant, and how does the plant environment contribute to your job satisfaction and the success of your team?

What makes working at the Gebze Bakery Plant unique is the collaborative and supportive environment. Everyone is willing to help each other, which fosters a sense of community and makes problem-solving easier. This positive atmosphere not only enhances my job satisfaction but also allows our team to work more efficiently and achieve shared goals together.

How has leadership at Mondelēz fostered your professional growth as a Production Planning and Logistics Manager, and can you share examples of how their support contributed to your career advancement?

Leadership at Mondelēz has been very supportive of my growth. I’ve been given opportunities in new roles and supported in different projects, which helped me develop quickly and confidently as a Production Planning & Logistics Manager.

What advice would you give to current Production Planning and Logistics professionals who aspire to move into management roles, based on your own career path?

I would advise aspiring managers to stay open to learning and to build strong relationships across departments. Participating in various projects and being proactive will significantly enhance readiness for new roles.
