Remote Work Experience (RWEX)

What is Remote Work Experience Week?

The Remote Work Experience or RWEX is a 5-day learning journey available for students who want to learn more from food career experts. It highlights STEM growth opportunities across the food system, enlivening the diverse, inclusive, progressive, and vibrant nature of Food and Drink careers in a interactive and engaging way.

This experience is carefully curated by Cadbury's Chocolate Center of Excellence in Bournville - the home of chocolates in the UK!

During the entire learning journey, students go through the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) product development process using chocolate to drive engagement.

What Happens on the 5-day Learning Journey?

Participants attend ten collaborative sessions hosted by subject matter experts, which include the breadth of diversity and depth of technology that Mondelēz International believes is vital to the future success of the food and beverage sector.

Student groups create a virtual product from an innovation brief, which progresses through consumer testing, process engineering, sustainable packaging, virtual factory trial, regulatory considerations, and advertising strategy, and then sell it into the market.
