What do you enjoy most about the work you do at Mondelēz?

I love working with the brands and people. I’ve found that working at Mondelēz I’m not only learning from the tasks that I’m doing but from the people that I’m working with. Also working at Mondelēz, love the community involvement that our brands lead, for example the community grants that were given out to local sporting clubs in 2024. Not all brands and businesses prioritise our communities, but I love that we do!

How does our approach to flexibility work for you? What impact has it had on your ability to gain more work-life balance?

Mondelēz has a great flexible working approach, sometimes I find I’m required to work outside of the usual 9-5, and that is met with understanding and acceptance from my managers.

How would you describe the culture at Mondelēz Australia? What are 1-2 things that enjoy most about it?

The Mondelēz culture is so warm and welcoming. I love that while in such a large organization, I can get a cup of tea in the kitchen and have a chat with anyone because our community is so tight with one another. I also enjoy within our smaller teams the importance and focus on celebrating each other’s wins together.

What does career development and learning, mean for you at Mondelēz?

Mondelēz have always been so supportive of my career development which has led to me being with the business +13 years. All my managers and development courses I’ve had the opportunity to partake in have been invaluable to my professional and personal development throughout the years. A fantastic example of this was my opportunity to be a Regional Manager in the Victorian field team, providing me with opportunity to learn skills in people leadership early on in my career.

What has been your favourite project/launch to work on?

Marvellous Creations was first launched in 2011 and has been much loved ever since. It's known for the unique playful shapes of the chocolate pips and most importantly the exciting and fun popping candy that delights our consumers.

In 2024 we extended the range to include a white chocolate variant to grow penetration through choc mass expansion.

To celebrate this launch, we executed an internal activation where we gave away a standing speaker fabulously branded with the Marvellous Creations visual identity. The give-away linked into the brands identity of fun and playful sparking excitement amongst the wider business. To partake in the competition entrants had to share their most marvellous creation product idea. It gave people an outlet to be creative with our brands, some even going as far to make a mood board of their creation. This launch holds deep meaning to me as it showcases the power of our brands and how we can leverage them to unlock connection between people through their deep meaning.
