The Manager Finance Conversion, North America will have responsibility for supporting efforts to drive savings via variable and fixed manufacturing cost planning and analysis, and optimization of product sourcing across 13 plants in the US, Canada and Mexico and several external manufacturers, with a total production value of about $4 billion. The successful candidate will significantly contribute to the efficiency of our Finance operation and support our Supply Chain in becoming best-in-class. This role will report into the Senior Manager, Conversion NA, and will collaborate with peer analysts, plants and central supply chain functions. Very close linkage and communication is required with outsourced business provider (Genpact) in India.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Lead the analysis to optimize sourcing based on lowest landed cost and available capacity, in cooperation with the product supply team
- Responsible for analysis supporting fixed cost absorption calculation. Ensures consistent forecast assumptions and accounting of actual cost to the BU P&L
- Conduct Fixed and variable conversion actuals cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Escalates issues to Product Cost / Procurement stakeholders in case of inconsistencies identified with plant standards or NIC rates
- Implements and reviews standard Lean Six Sigma analytics and reporting for the North America ISC function, and recommends enhancements as necessary, in cooperation with NA Manufacturing Leadership
- Partner with business teams to define, track, and analyze key performance metrics
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis
- Interact and provide oversight to Genpact plant reporting team in India

- Presents numbers and results in an organized and confident fashion to senior management, both verbally and in quality presentation decks
- Remains calm in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA/CPA preferred.
- Experience with financial systems, particularly SAP.
- 5 years of Finance management with experience in manufacturing Finance
- Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently to all levels of the organization.
- Must possess strong technical acumen and be comfortable working with complex data
- Experience working with outsourced business providers is a plus
