You support sourcing for spend categories-including sourcing execution and stakeholder management-to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. You also work closely with local business and global spend category teams to ensure best practice sharing and driving value for the organization.

In addition, you will lead in the development and deployment of sourcing strategies and the ongoing management of supplier relationships, manage the supply base working internal and external stakeholders to ensure Mondelēz International’s competitive advantage, completely build a program with the business and suppliers that incorporates best practices, market insights, risks and opportunities, and set a clear vision for various areas, defining and delivering ambitious plans that encourage teams and stakeholders to engage not just in the destination, but also in the journey.

Global Sourcing Manager – IT Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Services

The Global Sourcing Manager – IT M&A Services, reports directly to the Sr Manager Global Sourcing ITS within Indirect Global Sourcing. The role will entail working closely with the Mondelez Digital Services stakeholders on all M&A sourcing and contract management practices on a global scale. Join the dots, leverage our scale proactively across engagements and ensure maximize value return for Business, whilst keeping core team focused on 2023 delivery.

The key activities include building strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders to manage end to end procurement activities from contract advisory, managing bid events, supplier negotiations, supporting project execution, supplier relationship management, and driving controls and compliance across all M&A Activity.  

How you will contribute

  • The Global Sourcing Manager will be act as the Central point for all M&A/Divestiture work with MDS
  • Manage team of AR funded workstream resources.
  • Drive synergy / efficiency opportunities across MDS M&A integration project SOWs - track & reporting for cost & value delivery.
  • Challenge & proactively partner with the Business to ensure right external partner selection.
  • Elevate the external partner conversations to ensure access to best talent & more advantaged commercial terms specific to M&A.
  • Learn, improve & reapply practices across engagements > Get better & slicker at integration.
  • Manage handoffs to BAU Sourcing team post go-live and indicate areas of post deal synergy.
  • Execute end-to-end sourcing and contract management activities across the MDS M&A agenda.
  • Contract manage key agreements such as Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work, Software agreements to ensure that compliance and strategic objectives are met.
  • Ensure full compliance to procurement policy for 100% of spend under management.
  • Support the delivery of strategic Global Supplier Management objectives; Productivity, Cashflow, Cost Avoidance, Supplier Diversity etc. 
  • Work in collaboration cross-functionally with other support functions such as legal, security, finance, tax, etc for efficient contract execution.

What you will bring

Preferred

  • Recognised qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in IT and/ or M&A Services.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a can do attitude. 

Required

  • Appropriate University Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Skills/Leadership Competencies
    • Analytical and Problem Solving.
    • Project Management and Communication.
    • Relationship Management.
    • Excel and Power Point proficiency
    • Experience sourcing IT Services, Technology,  software/ license agreements / SaaS agreements
  • Considerable experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • Prior Sourcing, Negotiation and Contract Management experience.
