How You Will Contribute

The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and you will support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

  • Senior-level engineering and industrial operations - Expertise in one or more domains
  • Project Management skills in all project phases, from idea to ready solution, assuring that projects are delivered on time, and within specification and budget
  • Working efficiently in several capital project executions in parallel and safeguarding that the results meet Mondelēz standards
  • Working effectively with cross-functional, multi-national teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Performing contractors’ management for safety, quality, and timely delivery

You are expected to be a part of the Project Management Office, responsible for the key investment projects in Lamia and Larissa plants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or Electrical engineering or Chemical engineering or Production engineering
  • At least 2-3 year of work experience in project management is required, ideally in mid – large scale, industrial projects.
  • Previous experience in leading, motivating and engaging teams
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and AutoCad will be considered a plus
  • Ability to work independently and drive results
  • Working experience with multinational teams and stakeholders is an asset

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Communicative level of Greek is required
  • Written and spoken English to a professional business level is a must
  • Availability to participate in engineering projects within Mondelēz International footprint if the need arises

Location: The position is based in Lamia.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz  Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
