How you will contribute

You will: 

  • Work in close partnership with the business leadership team to execute the analytics agenda
  • Identify and incubate best-in-class external partners to drive delivery on strategic projects
  • Develop custom models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drive long-term business performance
  • Execute the business analytics program agenda using a methodical approach that conveys to stakeholders what business analytics will deliver

You will focus to develop and implement a governance framework that includes metrics on platform and services, and data catalogue processes.

They also define and enforce services standards, policies, and procedures to ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and secure across all analytics solutions. 

You will need to evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve governance capabilities.

What you need to know about this position:

  • Analytics Governance Tech Lead is a key member of an organization's analytics team, responsible for:
  • Ensuring the quality, security, and privacy of analytic services used in analytics solutions
  • Developing and implementing a data governance framework that supports business objectives and complies with industry standards and regulations. 
  • Will be responsible for building PowerBI Datasets and Dashboards to report metrics and KPI’s on various Data and Analytics platforms (including training, capturing business value of programs, etc) at Mondelez. 
  • Will need to determine which KPI’s and Metrics should be reported for each platform.

  • Have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and be able to analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and trends.
  • Should be able to provide guidance and support to team members
  • Excellent strategic communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts in an understandable manner and actively listen to identify business problems.
  • Is familiar with Agile project management principles

Job specific requirements:

  • 5 Year experience with PowerBI
  • Have a strong technical background, with experience in cloud technologies, database technologies, data warehousing, ETL tools, and programming languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Build and maintain Dashboards and Datasets to show platform and self-service metrics and KPI’s
  • Developing and implementing a services governance framework that includes platform metrics and self-service metrics.
  • Define and enforce standards, policies, and procedures to ensure around analytics services.
  • Conduct assessments to measure the effectiveness of analytic services processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform data governance strategies and solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve governance capabilities.
  • Work with Data and Analytic Platform teams on needed KPI’s, Metrics, Dashboards, datasources
  • Communicate with stakeholders across the organization, including business users, data scientists, and IT professionals, to ensure that governance processes are aligned with business objectives.
