You manage best-in-class execution of brand designs. As part of a small global team of packaging design experts, you are the guardian of the Mondelēz design-to-print process, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external design agencies, artwork suppliers and printers to ensure we deliver excellence in packaging design with consistently impressive on-shelf looks.

What you need to know about this position:
Reporting to BU Marketing Director
The Marketing Excellence Manager supports the Mondelez Intl objective to drive consumer centric growth by empowering people to snack right.
The Marketing Excellence Manager will play a critical role to support the BU Marketing Director to drive marketing excellence in the BU to deliver sustainable growth.
He/she will report to the BU Marketing Director, will work closely with cross functional colleagues (consumer experience, I&A, e-commerce, consumer care, design, ...) and with the Global Marketing Excellence & Transformation team.
The Marketing Excellence Manager leads the overall “Marketing Excellence” agenda through 3 pillars (or 3 C) and is key partner to the BU Marketing Director.
1. Lead the marketing agenda (3 C) for the BU, in close linkage with the Global Marketing and Excellence team:
Capabilities :
- Partner with Commercial People Lead in functional skill gap assessment and develop a multi-year capability roadmap for the BU.
- Customize Global curriculum to BU needs through creation of bespoke programmes in p’ship with Global ME. Create advocacy and drive across the community.
- Lead the budgeting, planning and execution (may include facilitation) of Marketing capabilities
- Deploy global programmes for the BU. Act as an active global community member in contributing to creating and scaling these programmes.
Careers:
- Lead the roll out & adoption of Marketing Career & Competency Framework with a view to stepping up engagement score on Careers
- Partner Commercial People Lead & BU Marketing Director in talent calibration & long term talent planning
- Partner Commercial People Lead in the development & execution of a Graduate Program (where available) and enable execution of Global rotation for young talent
- Facilitate MDLZ Careers week, Growing in Marketing Week and Campus events.
Community:
- Lead the “animation” of the marketing community :
- Partner BU Marketing leader in ensuring effective collaboration across BU Strategy, I&A, Consumer Experience, e-commerce, Consumer Care and the Brand & Innovation teams
- Lead the “Marketing awards” for the BU, liaising with the Global Marketing Excellence team (selecting business cases, judging, etc..)
- Share “best practices” within the marketing community, liaising with the Global Marketing and Excellence team and other BUs, and “bring the outside in “ perspective engaging external partners
- Develop / Promote BU specific content for “My Marketing” liaising with Global ME, I&A, Consumer experiences teams 6.
- Promote / elevate marketing impact & contribution and Consumer centricity within the BU and externally partnering: CGA, commercial, sales, finance
- Lead the “marketing external agency network / community” (capability, performances together with Procurement)
- Support the BU Marketing Director in embedding marketing excellence in the “ day to day” (scope to be adapted by BU)
- Functionally lead Consumer Care manger and be an effective liaison with IBS. Ensure the insight from Consumer care activity is integrated in respective brand/ commercial discussions in the right forums and opportunities are capitalized upon. ( The consumer Care will report solid line to IBS to benefit from the technical infrastructure, and dotted line to the BU ME Lead)
2. Support the BU Marketing Director in embedding marketing excellence in the “day to day” (scope to be adapted by BU):
- Designs, proposes and embeds within the BU marketing and broader business processes which will help illuminate, assess and advance marketing excellence outcomes.
- Advances strategic global agenda in the BU and represents and advocates BU POV in the global community. Thought partner to Marketing leadership community on matters of marketing excellence.
- Advocates, educates on and embeds strategic (global) initiatives within the BU. Ensures ongoing feedback into respective programme leadership forums.
- Support the BU marketing director to embed the curriculum in the “ day to day” within the IBP cycle (AC / SP / PMR preparation , …)
- Scope could embrace other transversal marketing responsibilities, to be defined with the BU Marketing Director, such as portfolio / innovation excellence, WB/Sustainability strategy, design excellence, A&C coordination

Education / Certifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing or related
Job specific requirements:
- Proficiency in marketing competencies through several marketing assignment (commercial, equity / innovation, across different brands / categories)
- Passion for brands, consumers, and developing / coaching people.
- Leadership through influence rather than authority.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to inspire and build momentum behind initiatives.
- Solid analytical, problem solving and business / commercial skills
- Integrator and effective networker; effectively leads end to end marketing eco system
- Opportunity to build “lateral growth” expanding leadership skills in the area of influence, communication skills, expanding scope to more categories / brands or even countries / markers within a BU or “enriching” current scope to develop these skills
