We operate a category led business model across the core categories of Chocolate, Biscuits, Chocolate drinks and Cream Cheese working with iconic brands such as Marabou, TUC, Oreo, Oboy and Philadelphia.
In the role as Category Development Specialist you will turn brand strategies into the category and customer growth plans and identify commercial growth opportunities. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target. You are working closely with picture of success strategic framework and your role's contribution is vital in developing our pricing & promotion strategy.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Understand market dynamics / consumer insights by channel and category to participate in strategic decision making
- Contribute to our commercial plan by customer
- Create compelling selling story by customer
- Develop our category and shopper insights to be powerfully utilized and shared with our customers
- Contribute to finding and identifying growth opportunities within our snacking categories
- Take ownership of our local Ready to Sell meetings

- Analytical skills and business acumen
More about this role
Candidate requirements:
- Work experience in the FMCG industry
- University degree in Business Administration or other relevant discipline would be preferred
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Power BI, Analyse2 and Tahti would be an advantage
- Analytical skills
- Good presentation skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English
