Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager at our Philadelphia site in Mount Gambier, this exciting opportunity will see you responsible for the creation of purchase orders and controlling all aspects relating to Materials Planning including master data housekeeping and system accuracy.  

There is never a dull moment in this fast-paced role - Through your internal and external relationships this critical role will provide an uninterrupted supply of materials for the manufacturing process while preventing waste & following all policies and procedures of the company.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work effectively with internal teams (production & supply planning, procurement, plant warehouse & logistics, plant BD-business development) & external stakeholders (suppliers, transportation, vendors etc.) to ensure consistent and reliable supply of materials for production
  • Proactively and timely report any production or Vendor/shipping/carrier issues, and enlist supplier, transporter, planning teams to pre-empt any business impact and/or accommodate changes to production and/or delivery schedules as appropriate
  • Execute MRPs-Material requirement planning systems, Defining & maintaining boundaries, and parameters
  • Call in raw/pack materials and responsible for raw/pack master data accuracy
  • As a key member of the site Supply Planning Team, you will learn all aspects of Supply Planning and Production Scheduling and will be available to assist with leave coverage as required

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • Relevant work experience in material planning, demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, and/or forecasting highly advantageous
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) & experience in ERP (SAP) systems advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written), Analytical & Problem-solving skills, strong collaboration, and relationship management skills.
