How you will contribute
You will:
- Work in close partnership with the business leadership team to execute the analytics agenda
- Identify and incubate best-in-class external partners to drive delivery on strategic projects
- Develop custom models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drive long-term business performance
- Execute the business analytics program agenda using a methodical approach that conveys to stakeholders what business analytics will deliver

What you need to know about this position:
This person must be capable of holistically understanding business problems that are presented in the strategy, from the perspective of markets, categories, competition, consumption, and purchase dynamics, based on internal data sources, and to translate that information into insights that can be applied to the business.
Education / Certifications:
- Degree in careers such as Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Post graduate degree in related areas (Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Digital Analytics, etc) (preferred)
Job specific requirements:
- Ability to solve business problems using Analytics and Data Science in a structured manner
- Extract strategic business insights from data and efficiently communicate them to stakeholders
- Build models to predict future trends and use them to inform business strategy
- Understand the applications and implications of Data Science and the impact impact on business decisions through evidence gathered from data
- Knowledge of most widely-used Analytics tools and technologies (PYTHON, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau), Supervised Machine Learning, Ensemble methods, clustering techniques like K-Means Clustering and Hierarchical Clustering, time series forecasting, marketing and retail a analytics, etc.
- Knowledge of probability and statistics, machine learning, advanced analytics, business intelligence.
- Foundational Financial Knowledge
- Advanced English required.
- Experience in consumer goods companies (desirable)
- Knowledge of retail, pricing, market, consumer and shopper data ingestion, transformation and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations
- Negotiation Skills, capable of persuasion and influence.
Travel requirements:
- The position can be based in one of the main WACAM’s countries: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, etc. However, travel might be required once a year.
- No Relocation support available.
