Reconciliation Action Plan

Mondelez formalises its commitment to Reconciliation in Australia

In 2022, Mondelez celebrates 100 years of manufacturing in Australia. While this is a proud moment for us, it has also provided a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding of the land we operate on, and to build relationships with Traditional Landowners and the communities that have cared for these lands for more than 65,000 years.

At the heart of this endeavour Is the formalisation of our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, our Reflect RAP provides us with a framework to build and strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities and organisations, and explore ways that our business can have the greatest impact.

At Mondelez, our diversity is a strength that drives innovation and growth and we’re committed to advocating for equity and inclusion of our colleagues, consumers and communities in Australia and around the world.

The art featured throughout our RAP Reflect document has been generously gifted by Michelle Kerrin, a descendent of the Arrente and Luritja clan groups from the Northern Territory. Her work represents the story of what has been and what is to come – a celebration of the power of our brand and our people, whilst recognising the great work everyone must continue to do.
