The Commercial Finance Analyst will work under the guidance of the Finance Manager to maintain finance transactions, data, systems and reporting. You will also collect data and perform detailed checks/controls.

How you will contribute

  • Supports the month-end closing process and helps analyse and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process including Annual budget planning, financial performance reporting/analysis, and financial modelling.
  • Execute ad hoc analyses as requested by the Finance manager and Nordic Finance director.
  • Proactively drive a business partnering agenda towards Sales and Marketing.
  • Execute financial outlook data collection and coordination for the Nordic region.
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies.
  • Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Support external reporting e.g., SSB.
  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers.

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial analysis and data collection/structuring
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and relevant experience in a local or regional business
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including collaboration and communication skills within a Finance team. Team player with a can do mentality to deliver results
  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • INTEGRITY and in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations

Education/Certifications:

  • University degree - accounting, economics, statistics, finance administration

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Excel skills and technical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player who collaboratively manage stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience with financial systems, particularly SAP is beneficial
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with details/understand business implications
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz  Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
