Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.

How you will contribute

With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

  • Food science, science, or engineering ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods market

  • Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing
  • Putting the consumer at the heart of development activities

What you need to know about this position:

These duties include but not limited to: 

  • Work independently to plan, lead and coordinate technical work in line with R&D, marketing and manufacturing requirements
  • Effectively communicate status and risks and plan, lead and coordinate pilot plant and lab trials in accordance with HSE, QP and HACCP requirements
  • Plan, lead and coordinate development activities (i.e. product shelf life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation. etc.)
  • Provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information
  • Create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications and be responsible for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results
  • To ensure overall compliance with Mondelēz International GMP and Safety standards

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Attention to details, organized and can work independently
  • A good knowledge and understanding on MS Office Tools

Education / Certifications:

  • Food Science and Technology related courses in Diploma or Degree undergrad

Job specific requirements:

  • With 3 to 5 years of laborat work experience preferably within the food industry
  • Knowledgeable in oral health will be an advantage
