Procurement at Mondelēz International is more than buying. It is an integral part of our business strategy. Our procurement process starts with understanding, even predicting, what our business needs and preparing to meet demand. We then have to set quality standards, build winning relationships with suppliers so they keep us up to date with innovations in their area, receive goods and services, and approve payments. Markets for the commodities we need – such as cocoa, coffee and sugar – are volatile, so we have to manage risks and control the impact of fluctuating prices.

Our Warsaw Offices
Our Warsaw hub is located in Trinity Park III building, Domaniewska Street. It is a very comfortable and well organized space, and is enjoyed by around 350 colleagues. We’re very proud that we continue to modernize our Mondelēz International Warsaw office - creating creative spaces to inspire our colleagues!
There are good transport links to the office with both bus and train routes close by.
There is also somewhere to leave your bike at the front of the building if you choose to cycle to work.

Within ISC we believe strongly in the importance of colleagues gaining breadth of career experience and we encourage this with our 2 Categories: 2 Disciplines: 2 Locations approach as great building blocks.
Our Warsaw and Bournville hub locations now provide a great breadth of career opportunities and moving to one of these locations could enable you to make good progress on your career journey. The UK is one of the most cosmopolitan countries in Europe and Poland is one of the most economically successful. Both locations are in major university cities, which bring a nice buzz to a place and increases the diversity.
Frank Cervi - SVP, Integrated Supply Chain MEU
Bournville and Warsaw are growing community locations for our Procurement function. Within these communities there are opportunities to work in Spend Areas, Local Procurement and in Category roles allowing individuals to develop career breadth easily.

For me, Procurement at MDLZ is a lot about leading in partnership with the business. We need to have a common agenda with the business, that’s crucial. Ultimately, it’s about being a trusted partner and leading from the front. We negotiate the best deals for both Mondelēz International and our suppliers and bring in new ideas and new ways of working to support and advance the business. Another exciting part of working in Procurement is to be the “Eye of the company” in the outside world. We’re involved right the way through the development of a new product.
Antonella Avella - Strategy Manager, European Marketing & Sales Procurement
I was first attracted to Mondelēz International because of the great opportunities to learn and to work with international teams. The best thing is that we are able to create great teams of professionals; we are able to deliver in an efficient way, working together in a very good atmosphere, respecting and supporting each other. My advice for other Procurement professionals? Be open to new challenges... Do not be afraid to leave your comfort zone - this will always improve your skills and learning agility. The international environment at our Warsaw hub gives us plenty of opportunities to learn about different cultures and meet new & interesting people!
