What is your current role?
I have been working at MDLZ since March 2021 as the LA E-Commerce Growth Acceleration manager, previously I worked for 10 years for L’Oréal Group as an e-commerce specialist. I lead Latin America eCommerce Growth Strategy for B2C and D2C. I am responsible for the LA eCommerce acceleration plan, developing mid and long-term e-commerce strategy for the MDLZ – Improving our performance on Full Basket, Single Item, MarketPlaces, Last Millers (or Quick Commerce), and Direct-to-Consumer website. Also, I oversee the LA teams’ capabilities building plan, how to win in grocery online / Flywheel Platinum Project and others. I work with our Global/BU teams to integrate and align our new ways of work.
What makes e-commerce at MDLZ so exciting
The people, for sure! Working with an incredible team, that fully believes in what we have been doing! We are changing the way MDLZ does business, creating a strong integrated strategy to win as a leader in Digital Commerce. It involves all the company's areas, from commercial to marketing, from supply to finance. I am delighted to be part of this! Also, the agility and the vision make me feel comfortable to excel! How do you see the future of e-commerce develop at MDLZ
I see it as an amazing blue ocean! Full of potential to innovate, dare and learn. We are agile to see opportunities, bold to execute and attentive to analyze and learn. With anticipation and integration, we build our strategy based on convergence and synergy between teams and this makes us go further! To master the digital commerce, we must create a unique route to market, connecting all the touchpoints, with no silos!
How has your career developed at MDLZ
I just completed my first year at the company, but for me, it seems like a decade already! I feel recognized, empowered, and autonomous to do my best! MDLZ has a winning view & mindset, opening ways for the employees to build up confidence and there is more to come, I bet!
What is your view on working from home, a hybrid model and the way MDLZ handles this?
This is fantastic! I love this way of work and how it influenced me and the teams. I have created a home office to generate the best energy and creativity that my role needs. I feel better now, and it reflects on my deliverables. It is very cool to see how the company responded in a hybrid model, balancing the industry’s needs and the employee’s well-being during the covid pandemic, providing the tools, systems and training to adjust to new work models.
What is your view on diversity at MDLZ? What do we do well and what can we improve?
I really like the way MDLZ is aware of this! We can see the diversity all around. We work with diverse people, with diverse backgrounds, experiences, opinions, and viewpoints. No matter what is, MDLZ creates an environment to encourage us, and it prompts us to work in diversity with diverse people!
