My corporate journey started with a summer internship in Mondelēz International in India and a pre-placement offer paved way to the flagship iTaste programme (Early careers program) and into a sales role. From 2019 till now, the journey has been nothing short of thrilling.
Managing a team of nine people which includes both fresh recruits and senior executives with varied backgrounds and skill sets comes with its own set of rewards and challenges and the team management skills I have acquired over these two years is priceless. Be it handling an area with strong external forces of union in place or ensuring business continuity in a state deemed as one of the most severely impacted by Covid in India, these shaping experiences have not only polished and sharpened my negotiation skills but have been able to bring out the best in me with the right mix of agility and sensitivity. And it wouldn’t have been possible without an ever-dependable ecosystem of a supportive reporting manager and helpful colleagues.
It is hard to list out all the learnings as with every day comes a new challenge and with it a learning opportunity. And this is what exactly keeps me going as I am sure these learnings would help me in setting the foundation strong to achieve my career ambitions.
