Offering snacks people feel good about

At Mondelēz International, we believe people should be able to enjoy a delicious snack without worrying about the impact their snacking choices have on the world and their communities. That’s why we’re committed to making sustainable snacks that are both good for people and the planet.

This starts by working alongside suppliers to ensure key ingredients, like wheat and cocoa, are sustainably sourced and produced. Today, we make and bake our snacks with less energy, water and waste. And we’re staying at the forefront of the fight against climate change with aggressive goals to reduce our CO2 emissions.

In addition to improving the way we make our snacks, we’re committed to delivering our snacks in a sustainable manner. By 2025, all our packaging will be 100% recyclable and all paper-based products will be sustainably sourced by 2020. Since we started our journey in 2012, we’ve eliminated 59,600 metric tonnes of packaging.

We believe that focusing on building a thriving ingredient supply chain, reducing our environmental impact and developing zero net waste packaging will help us make the biggest impact to reduce our end-to-end environmental foot print.
