Leveraging global innovation following proven market success in the UK, RITZ Crisp & Thins is now making a crunch in the U.S.
An alternative to the traditional potato chip, RITZ Crisp & Thins responds to consumer demand for better-for-you chip options with spectacular flavor. The product combines potatoes and wheat, rolled thin and oven-baked for extra airiness and crunch, with 50 percent less fat than the leading regular fried potato chips. Launching in four delicious flavors (Sea Salt, Cream Cheese & Onion, Bacon, and Salt & Vinegar), the line joins a portfolio that includes RITZ Crackers, RITZ Bits, and RITZ Toasted Chips.
For the launch, we leveraged the college basketball season, with sampling efforts outside all the stadiums during the March Madness basketball tournament. The tour spans 13 markets in the U.S. and will culminate at the Final Four tournament.
