Partnering with Catalyst CEO Champions For Change
At Mondelēz International, we’re actively creating an inclusive culture where everyone can grow, helping to empower our teams and create more fulfilling careers. It enables our organization to become more innovative and productive, and ultimately better serve our customers and consumers.
Celebrating International Women’s Day, our CEO Irene Rosenfeld marked the occasion at an event hosted by Catalyst, a global thought leader and partner in accelerating the progress of women at work for more than 50 years. As an honorary co-chair, Irene and more than 40 high-profile CEOs and top industry leaders announced Catalyst CEO Champions For Change, a new pledge to continue to drive change for gender equality in the workplace. The founding companies of Catalyst Champions for Change represent more than 9 million employees and more than $1.5 trillion dollars in revenue globally.
Today, a little more than a third of our workforce is women and we have a number of forums around the world to help provide resources and support for our colleagues – helping us live our values of being open and inclusive.
With this initiative, we’re affirming our support for accelerating diversity, inclusion and gender equality within our organization. We have made strong organizational commitments to forward this movement, including advancing the representation of women and women of color in senior level positions and on the board of directors over five years and actively sponsoring a diverse group of women.
