Living in Warsaw

Warsaw, the capital and largest city of Poland, is a wonderful place to live. The metropolis stands on the Vistula River in east-central Poland, with a population of nearly 2 million. An alpha global city, it is a major international tourist destination, and a significant cultural, political and economic hub.

As one of Europe's most dynamic metropolitan cities, Warsaw is a significant center of research and development, business and culture. The Warsaw Stock Exchange is the largest and most important in Central and Eastern Europe. Together with Frankfurt, London and Paris, Warsaw is also one of the cities with the highest number of skyscrapers in the European Union.

The picturesque Old Town of Warsaw, which represents examples of nearly every European architectural style and historical period, was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980. Warsaw is also renowned for its bars, restaurants, art galleries and, most notably, several dozen museums and outspread greenery, with around a quarter of the city's area occupied by parks.

Living in Bournville

Make Change Happen

Considered "one of the nicest places to live in Britain," Bournville is a model village on the south side of Birmingham, England. Bournville's rich history is well documented, built more than 100 years ago to accommodate both Cadbury's chocolate factory and its workers.

The Cadburys were particularly concerned with the health and fitness of their workforce, incorporating park and recreation areas into the Bournville village plans and encouraging all forms of outdoor sports. Now incorporating a campus feel with 100 acres of parks and open spaces, Bournville remains a popular residential area of Birmingham.

Standing on the River Rea, Birmingham itself is one of the largest and most populous cities in the UK, proudly boasting more miles of canals than Venice! From its heavily industrial roots, it has become a major international commercial and financial center, and is also the UK's largest hub of higher education, outside of London, being home to 5 different universities. Birmingham is an important transport, retail, events and conference hub, with vibrant and influential grassroots cultural, art, music, literary and culinary scenes.
