What did your career development look like? (what role did you join the company on and how did you progress)

I joined Mdlz in 2014 as JUMP Management Trainee. Within the program I experienced three assignments, each one linked to Sales. After one year I stepped into the Key Account Managers team and cooperated with local and international customers like: Stokrotka, Biedronka, LIDL, Selgros, ALDI, Tesco. In 2020 I took over the position of Senior Key Account Manager and was leading the discounters channel and managing the team of 5 people.

What was for you the biggest advantage of the Early Careers Program?

Since day one I got great support from senior leaders and was enrolled in real comprehensive business cases giving me an overview on how the business works.

What kind of support did you have during the program? What helped you to overcome obstacles on your journey to success?

Important success factor for me, especially at the beginning of my career, was the support of my mentors. I could reach out to people representing different functions to get their perspective and gain support based on their experience and market expertise.

What would you say where the biggest learnings for you during the program?

Mindset is contagious – when you want to embrace change you need to display it also in your behavior. I recognized how much my behavior, emotions and mindset affect other people and their motivation, also in the workplace.

What is your advice for a successful career planning? What do you think is crucial for a successful career planning?

Be the bold owner of your career and taste new things 😊

What is something that you are proud of looking at your career so far?

From current perspective I see how much I built my resilience over the last time and that’s because the great support I get from my family, friends, and great managers I cooperate with.

What is your dearest memory from the program?

People – the relationships established are the souvenirs I take with me forever 😊

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of applying for our program?

Be brave and believe in yourself 😊
